Maryland Governor Larry Hogan accuses WMATA Board Chairman of “extortion”

HANOVER, Maryland — Maryland Governor Larry Hogan on Wednesday charged Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority chairman Jack Evans with making unprecedented demands in order to give the state easements for Metro’s Purple Line.
