SHA rolls out new technology to help keep winter roads clear and safe

HANOVER, Maryland — The Maryland State Highway Administration showed off some new technology they’ll be using to help motorists stay safe, keep the roads clear and curb salt usage during the upcoming winter. That technology includes an infrared measurement system, larger trucks and greater use of salt brine.
