MARYLAND: Judge rules in favor of guns on the streets

MARYLAND • BY KATELIN WANGBERG, CNS

A Baltimore federal judge has ruled that Maryland’s handgun permit law, restricting handguns to homes, is unconstitutional. In his opinion, Judge Benson Everett Legg said the law infringes on the right to keep and bear arms.

Maryland’s Attorney General says the state will appeal the ruling.
