PHOTOS: A bead on politics

When our photographer went to S&A Beads to take a photo to accompany owner Larry Silverman’s op-ed piece in this week’s Voice, he noted this clever politics- and pun-filled window display. Silverman credits S&A’s senior artist and teacher Cheryl Moody with help from the rest of the staff, all of whom contributed ideas.

Moody, said Silverman, has been with S & A Beads for more than 20 year. He said, “She is among the best craftswomen you will ever meet, as any of her students and customers will tell you. … She is world class in the field of personal ornamentation.”
